Nonetheless

It's based on an older work that is a small sculpture in the shape of a heart with a hole in it. The Netherlands claims it's a direct culture, but when it comes to big emotions, Dutch people don't know how to talk about them. That's why I made this very dramatical piece, with the image of the damaged heart(s) and a somewhat distorted burst open ribcage shape.
