‘Act Up, Fight Back, Fight AIDS’ is een slogan die ontstond in de late jaren 1980, als strijdkreet van de actiegroep ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power). De groep werd in 1987 opgericht in New York als reactie op de trage en vaak discriminerende aanpak van de aidscrisis door overheden, farmaceutische bedrijven en media.
